NNSchedule· Every recurring job, right on time

The Monday report, sent by itself.

Write the query once, add the recipients, pick the schedule. NNSchedule drops the result into inboxes at the same hour every period, as a formatted table or a CSV attachment.

In short

NNSchedule is a report automation tool that runs SQL queries and stored procedures on a visual schedule and e-mails the results. You define the query, parameters and recipients once, and the result goes out either as a formatted HTML table in the e-mail body or as a UTF-8 CSV attachment that opens cleanly in Excel. Schedules are built from eight presets or by ticking frequency, hour and day, and every expression is validated before it is saved. Each run is logged with its duration, output and error message, so you always know whether the report went out.

Sound familiar?

01

The report depends on one person

The same person runs the query, pastes it into Excel and sends it. When they are on leave, so is the report.

02

The same manual work every period

Weekly and monthly numbers are pulled, formatted and attached from scratch each time, burning hours on pure repetition.

03

A software project for a simple report

A recurring e-mail report means writing a service, setting up a server task or building a new screen.

04

Nobody knows if it went out

When a scheduled script fails silently, no one notices until a manager asks where the numbers are.

FAQ

Questions you might have.

Do I need to write code to e-mail SQL query results automatically?

No. In NNSchedule you write the query or choose the stored procedure, add the recipients and pick the schedule. Turning the result into an e-mail, formatting it and sending it is handled by NNSchedule.

What format does the report arrive in?

You choose between a formatted HTML table in the e-mail body and a CSV file attached to the e-mail. The CSV is generated in UTF-8, so every character opens intact in Excel.

Can I schedule a stored procedure?

Yes. In a SQL job you set the command type to plain query or stored procedure and pass parameters in JSON. The connection is made through a named database connection.

How do I set the schedule? Do I need to know cron?

No. Choose a preset (every 1, 5, 15 or 30 minutes, hourly, daily, weekly or monthly) or tick frequency, hour and day. NNSchedule describes the expression in a plain sentence, and cron experts can type the raw expression in Advanced Mode.

How do I know if a report was not sent?

Every run is logged with its start time, duration, output and error message, and is reflected in the dashboard success rate. Filter the run history by Success or Failed, fix the issue and use "Trigger now" to run the job again right away.
